At the conclusion of the 3-day workshop, rising seniors will create:
- An overarching theme for their entire application
- A brag sheet for recommendation letters
- A draft of their Common App essay
- A well researched and diversified college list
At the conclusion of the 3-day workshop, rising seniors will learn:
- A step-by-step process for writing supplementary essays
- An overview of the rest of the process - early decision, interviews, scholarships, etc.
- Strategies to focus their time and stay on track
The focus of the 9th Grade workshops is to get the students started on the right path towards applying to college. Topics:
- High School Course Selection
- 2x2 Extracurricular Model
- Building Vocabulary
- Summer Enrichment Programs
- Initiating the Narrative
- Creating a College Plan
